Alberta Fire Services Advisory Committee (FSAC)

The Alberta Fire Services Advisory Committee (FSAC) was established in June 2003 to represent the Alberta fire service and to develop a unifying framework for the fire service that would give communities the tools they need to deliver the best possible emergency service to Albertans.

The FSAC consists of leading representatives from the fire service, industry, municipalities, and other stakeholders dedicated to developing a comprehensive model for Alberta’s fire services that would include a common, all-hazards risk assessment system and recognized standards for training and equipment.
